Eric Kamback appointed head of BoNYM’s Treasure Services group
The Bank of New York Mellon (BoNYM) has appointed Eric Kamback as CEO of its Treasury Services group. Previously deputy head, Kamback will take responsibility for the bank’s global payments, trade services and cash management businesses, succeeding Robert Stasik who is retiring after 35 years.
Kamback joined the bank in 1980 and has worked in a number of roles, including mutual funds and asset servicing. In recent years, he has focused on global mass payments, global remittances and image-based deposit products.
“Treasury services are integral to our relationships with customers around the world and Eric’s appointment will ensure strong leadership and a continued emphasis on innovation,” said Karen Peetz, CEO of Issuer, Treasury and Broker-Dealer Services.
