TFR Awards 2009

And the winners are….

The votes have been counted, checked and double-checked, and now the results are in.

This year, we received more votes than ever across the 26 categories. Deutsche Bank and the Bank of New York Mellon polled especially well across the board – perhaps reflecting the relative prudence and strength of these two banks during the recent financial crisis – while Falcon Group and Denton Wilde Sapte retained their top slots in Best Trade Finance Boutique and Best Law Firm for Trade Finance against stiff competition.

We would like to thank everyone who took the time and trouble of voting, and extend our warmest congratulations to all the winners – as well as those that secured second and third places. The top three in all 26 awards are detailed below and we will be running a full report in the next issue of Trade & Forfaiting Review, which will be out shortly.

We hope the awards will attract even more votes next year – as we’ve stressed time and again, the TFR Awards are decided entirely on the basis of votes of professionals in trade finance and nothing else.
