Chase specialist jumps over to Standard

News | 18 January 2002

(January 18, 2002) Jeanette Jones has joined Standard Bank London Ltd after 15 years at Chase’s forfaiting, global trade finance and structured debt department in London.

Jones will remain in London, working on distribution and structured trade finance for Standard. She will report to John O’Mulloy, global head, trade finance and forfaiting. Jones had been the target of several bank’s interest but has joined an institution that has a fair number of ex-Chase staffers - O’Mulloy among them, but including John Penn, head of commodity finance, David Locking, and Chris Bradley.

Chase, now JP Morgan, recently laid off its key London trade finance staff members and has restructured the department under the guidance of Paul Simpson, global head of trade services based in New York, who was previously at Deutsche Bank.
